Subscription Terms of Use for AeroWeather on Android

Subscriptions

Some parts of the Service are billed on a subscription basis (“Subscription(s)”). All billing is handled through Google. You will be billed in advance on a recurring and periodic basis. Periods are set either on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the type of subscription plan you select when purchasing a Subscription.

At the end of each billing cycle, your Subscription will automatically renew under the exact same conditions unless you cancel it or Lakehorn AG cancels it. You may cancel your Subscription renewal either through your online account management page (in Google’s Play Store) or by contacting Google customer service (https://support.google.com/googleplay).

Except when required by law, paid Subscription fees are non-refundable.

Content of Service

The service of the Subscription provides the following content and functionality:

NOTAM:  Data comes from US FAA (https://pilotweb.nas.faa.gov), but may also include data from other public sources. Data is regularily downloaded, stored, and processed from data sources to our servers at Amazon AWS. Also, delivery to user’s device(s) always comes from those servers at Amazon AWS.

METAR/TAF: Data comes primarily from certified ANSP (air navigation service provider) DWD (German Weather Service), but also from other public sources (such as US NOAA). If DWD doesn’t provide data for particular locations, data from other sources will be used instead. Also, usually the most up-to-date source is delivered automatically.

An active subscription enables dedicated METAR/TAF and NOTAM delivery without limitations on all devices. We ask for fair and normal use (e.g., data download) and might cancel subscriptions which make excessive use of the services.

Besides dedicated METAR/TAF and NOTAM, the subscription removes the ad-banner during an active subscription.

Service Description

All data provided by the subscribe service are gathered, processed, stored, and delivered by dedicated infrastructure (using Amazon Web Services). All systems are configured as fail-safe to provide a high level of availablity and reliability. However, unexpected incidents may still happen and can cause interruption of services. All services are configured, programmed, operated, maintained, and paid for by Lakehorn AG.

Free Trial

Lakehorn AG may, at its sole discretion, offer a Subscription with a free trial for a limited period of time. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable.

Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.
